Breach

The Azores found in the Atlantic Ocean are an amazing archipelago. The people are friendly the food is great and the nature is stunning. It is one of the best places for whale watching in Europe. Luckily for my wife and I when we decided to give it a go we got very lucky. These Transient Orcas had just made a kill on a Sunfish and the whole pod took turns devouring it. I anticipated where they would breach and got lucky with this shot as I had missed the first ones breach.

Timeless Dhow

As the early morning sun rose over the Indian Ocean and the breeze picked up the local fishermen adjusted their sails and adjusted their course. This scene has played out over hundreds of years along the East African coastline everyday (weather permitting) as dhows transported , traded and fished these waters.

Meeting

Waves anywhere on earth are the rhythmic gatekeepers between two worlds. They are a Greeting as well as a Warning.

A female Green Turtle makes her way back to the sea after having laid her eggs. The immense effort and strength it takes them to haul their bodies out and then back to the ocean is inspirational.
